Stoltenberg hopes Ukraine joins NATO within next decade

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg expressed hope that Ukraine will join the alliance within the next decade. In an interview with the German publication DPA, reported by Ukrainian media, Stoltenberg discussed the potential expansion of NATO.

When asked about the alliance’s expansion prospects over the next ten years, Stoltenberg said, “I really hope that Ukraine will become an ally.”

Stoltenberg also underscored the importance of increasing military aid to Ukraine. “The stronger our support, the more long-term commitment we make, the faster this war can end,” he said.
