Su-25 plane crash claims pilot’s life during exercises in Bolnisi municipality

A Su-25 military plane involved in military exercises crashed in Bolnisi municipality of Kvemo Kart;i region of Georgia, resulting in the death of pilot Kakhaber Zurabashvili from the Aviation and Air Command of the Defense Forces.

The Ministry of Defense has initiated a thorough investigation into the incident to determine its causes, as stated in their official release on Tuesday. 

“The aircraft crashed around 13:00 local time. Unfortunately, the pilot could not eject and lost his life,” said Dimitri Modebadze, a local official.
