Georgia's Minister of Internal Affairs, Sulkhan Tamazashvili, accompanied by Deputy Minister Aleksandre Darakhvelidze, visited the Migration Department.
Tamazashvili held a working meeting with the department's management and discussed reforms implemented within the unit. The Interior Minister stressed that combating illegal migration remains one of the Georgian government's key priorities.
During the meeting, it was noted that the strengthened legislative framework and upgraded infrastructure have further enhanced the effectiveness of efforts to tackle illegal migration.
