Georgia’s Interior Minister Sulkhan Tamazashvili has travelled to Azerbaijan on an official visit, the ministry’s press service said on Monday.

During the visit, Tamazashvili is scheduled to hold talks with his Azerbaijani counterpart Vilayat Eyvazov.

Discussions will focus on existing cooperation between Georgia and Azerbaijan in the field of law enforcement, as well as prospects for strengthening bilateral partnership further.

The Georgian delegation, led by Tamazashvili, also includes First Deputy Interior Minister Roni Meskhi.
