The Adjara Tourism Awards ceremony, Magnolia 2025, was held in Batumi, recognizing the region’s best tourism service providers across a range of categories.

The event was attended by the Chairman of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara, Sulkhan Tamazashvili. In his address, Tamazashvili emphasized that Adjara’s successful positioning on the global tourism map is the result of close cooperation between the public and private sectors.

“The Adjara Tourism Awards ceremony is a symbol of quality, professionalism, and achievement in the tourism sector. It is noteworthy that the Autonomous Republic of Adjara has successfully established itself on the global tourism map. This result has been achieved through close collaboration between the state and the private sector. You are the people who, through your daily work, make our region distinctive for visitors,” Tamazashvili said.

He also expressed gratitude to the Adjara Tourism and Resorts Department for organizing the event and thanked all participants for their commitment to quality and hospitality. According to the Chairman, joint and targeted efforts will not only strengthen the region’s tourism potential but also turn tourism into one of the key drivers of economic growth, positively affecting employment, public welfare, and Georgia’s international standing.

Within the framework of Magnolia 2025, winners were selected in 10 categories, including accommodation and food service establishments, tour guides, and travel agencies that received the highest levels of trust and evaluation from tourists, customers, and industry professionals. Honorary awards were also presented to distinguished tourism professionals, along with certificates of appreciation for outstanding contributions to the development and promotion of tourism.

The Magnolia 2025 awards were organized by the Adjara Tourism Department, with the aim of encouraging the tourism sector and improving service quality across the region. The ceremony was attended by members of the Adjara government and cabinet, as well as representatives of the tourism industry.
