Interior Minister visits Border Police units in Tbilisi

Georgia's Interior Minister, Sulkhan Tamazashvili, accompanied by Deputy Interior Minister Giorgi Bakhuashvili, visited structural units of the Border Police in Tbilisi, the ministry's press service said on Monday.
The head of the Border Police, Davit Tamazashvili, briefed the minister on the work of the Border Police's Main Rapid Response Department and showcased its facilities and equipment.
During the visit, the minister attended a demonstration exercise involving tactical, firearms and mountain training components. He also received detailed information from senior officials about the department's key areas of operation.

The interior minister thanked Border Police personnel for their service and pledged continued support for their work.
