Georgian Interior Minister Sulkhan Tamazashvili held an introductory meeting with Dovletmyrat Seyitmamedov, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Georgia.
The parties reviewed the existing partnership between the two countries and emphasized the importance of further deepening bilateral cooperation.
During the meeting, Tamazashvili highlighted the close ties between the law enforcement agencies of Georgia and Turkmenistan, noting that the two sides have established intensive and effective cooperation in the field of law enforcement.
The discussions also covered future initiatives aimed at expanding and strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation between the relevant institutions of the two countries.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the participants reaffirmed their commitment to continuing active cooperation and further enhancing the friendly relations and partnership between Georgia and Turkmenistan.
