The State Security Service of Georgia (SSS) has expressed deep condolences following the death of Simon Tsakadzé, chief inspector at the Anti-Corruption Agency.

“In the wake of this tragic loss, we extend our heartfelt sympathy to his family, friends, and colleagues. Simon Tsakadzé had served in our agency since 2015 and was a dedicated, experienced officer known for his commitment and professionalism,” the SSS said in a statement.

The service also addressed recent speculation surrounding the circumstances of his death. “We respectfully ask everyone to refrain from making manipulative statements and to honour the memory of the deceased,” the statement added, noting that such remarks only deepened the grief of his loved ones and colleagues.
