The employees of Tbilisi emergency medical service held a demonstration near the administration building of the emergency medical center on Friday, demanding an increase in their salaries.

The demonstrator said that they had asked for improvement of working conditions and salary increase for the eighth month to the authorities,  with no genuine steps being taken so far.

According to the participants of the rally, they met the Deputy Minister of Health in July, who promised a 10 percent increase in salaries in 2023. Doctors said this was not enough. They have warned of “tougher measures” if their demand is not met.
