Tbilisi municipal transports cards will be integrated with bank cards allegedly from May and passengers will not have to carry the passenger card separately, Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze stated earlier today.

 

He said that 55,000 different types of passenger cards have been sold so far since the enactment of the new fair system starting February 2022.

 

The fare for one-time travel in capital Tbilisi currently costs one GEL. The price for one-day-ride stands at 3 GEL, one-month – 40 GEL, three-month – 100 GEL, six-month – 150 GEL, one-year – 250 GEL.

 

The purchase of the cards are able at metro stations or in the Bank of Georgia branches.
