Tbilisi City Court has refused to change the pre-trial measure for Levan Khabeishvili, leaving the chair of the United National Movement’s political council in detention.

Addressing the court during Tuesday’s hearing, Khabeishvili urged the opposition to remain united. He was arrested on 11 September and remanded in custody two days later.
