Law enforcement officers detained both suspects shortly after the incident as a result of оперативe and investigative measures

Officers of the Isani-Samgori Main Division of the Tbilisi Police Department under Georgia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs have arrested two individuals, both born in 2004, on charges of intentional grievous bodily harm and violence against a minor.

According to the investigation, one of the suspects wounded a man born in 1985 with a cold weapon following an argument and then fled the scene. During the same incident, the second suspect is alleged to have physically assaulted a minor born in 2010.

Law enforcement officers detained both suspects shortly after the incident as a result of оперативe and investigative measures.

The investigation is being conducted under Articles 117 and 126¹ of Georgia’s Criminal Code, which carry penalties of up to seven years’ imprisonment, the Ministry of Internal Affairs said.
