Officers from the Isani-Samgori Division of Tbilisi Police have detained a previously convicted individual on suspicion of illegal possession and facilitation of drug distribution, the Interior Ministry announced.

The suspect, identified as L.Kh., born in 2002, was arrested during an operation involving both investigative and intelligence-led activities. Authorities said the crime was punishable by up to 20 years or life imprisonment under Georgian law.

During a search of the suspect’s residence and personal belongings, police seized 142 individually packaged doses of the drug known as “Bio.” Additional quantities of the substance were also recovered from various locations the suspect allegedly used to conceal drugs for later sale.
