Four dead, one injured in Gurjaani road crash, eastern Georgia

Four people have been killed and another seriously injured in a road accident involving a trailer in Gurjaani, eastern Georgia, on Wednesday.

The incident occurred on the Bakurtsikhe-Tbilisi connecting road, near Barjiskhevi, earlier today. Eyewitnesses reported that the driver of the trailer lost control of the vehicle, which skidded and collided with several cars.

Emergency responders confirmed that four people died at the scene, while one individual was taken to hospital with severe injuries.

Police and rescue teams have been deployed to the area, and an investigation is underway to determine the cause of the crash.
