The coronavirus vaccine is due to arrive in Ukraine tomorrow, February 23, in the morning. The drug is already on the plane.

This was stated by the deputy head of the President's Office Kirill Tymoshenko during the Ukraine 30 forum.

According to him, certain problems arose in the logistics of the vaccine, so the plane is not flying directly to Ukraine.

"The vaccine is on its way. Tomorrow morning, I hope, it will already be in Ukraine. She is already on the plane, there is some way of this plane. Unfortunately, the first batch does not go directly to Ukraine. There are some logistical problems not caused by the vaccine itself. ", – said Tymoshenko.

He also added that the Ministry of Health is currently working with a logistician on options for the quick delivery of the next lots of vaccine.

"In fact, Ukraine will receive a new batch of this vaccine every 10 days," – Tymoshenko said.

We will remind, yesterday the Minister of Health Maxim Stepanov said that 500 thousand doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine should arrive in Ukraine in the coming days. Then they will be distributed between the regions according to the plan of the Ministry of Health.
