The Medical Doctor program of European University is recognized by the UK General Medical Council

The one-cycle Medical Doctor (MD) educational program of European University has been officially assessed by the General Medical Council (GMC) of the United Kingdom and recognized as delivering high-quality medical education comparable to the standards of medical schools in the United Kingdom.

A comprehensive evaluation by GMC experts was conducted at European University in November 2025. As part of the visit, the University’s academic and clinical resources were assessed. The evaluation included an inspection of the University’s infrastructure and university hospital, as well as working meetings with the University administration, academic and invited staff, and students. During the visit, the MD program and the University’s internal regulatory documentation were also reviewed.

As a result of this evaluation, the GMC concluded that the program fully meets the established requirements, once again confirming European University’s commitment to the continuous development of medical education and the provision of high-quality standards.
