The new government will be presented to the parliament today

After the resignation of the Prime Minister, the parliament must approve the new team of the government. Today it will be clear who will keep the minister's portfolio, the new composition of the government will be presented to the Bureau of the Parliament, whose session is scheduled for 18:00.

After that, the candidates will be considered in committee and faction formats.

The government will declare confidence in the government next week, with the ruling party having the necessary 76 votes.

Giorgi Gakharia resigned as Prime Minister on February 18. Georgian Dream has nominated Irakli Gharibashvili for the post of Prime Minister.
