The number of detected infections with coronavirus in the world on Friday morning was 150 million 133 thousand 654, according to data from the American University of Johns Hopkins.
Globally, since the beginning of the pandemic, the number of deaths from diseases associated with COVID-19 has reached 3 million 162 thousand 166 people, more than 127 million have been cured.
Countries with over 10 million cases of COVID-19 infection include the United States, India and Brazil.
The United States remains the leader in the number of people infected and died, where a total of 32 million 288 thousand 689 infected with COVID-19 were detected, 575 thousand 193 deaths were recorded, and about 25 million people recovered.
India ranks second in terms of the number of infected, where the number of diseases continues to rise at a serious rate of concern. Over the past day, 386 thousand 542 new infections were detected, as a result, the number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 since the beginning of the pandemic reached 18 million 376 thousand 524, the number of deaths – 204 thousand 832, more than 15 million recovered.
In the third position in the world in terms of the number of infected Brazil, where during the pandemic 14 million 590 thousand 678 cases were registered, of which 401 thousand 186 people died, almost 13 million recovered.
According to the portal Worldometer, which specializes in statistics on the most important world events, the death rate per 1 million of the world's population was 407.9 as of Friday morning. In the United States, 1 thousand 771 people died per 1 million inhabitants, India – 150, Brazil – 1 thousand 877.
