The Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Gharibashvili met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Austria to Georgia Thomas Mulmann. Bilateral relations between Georgia and Austria were discussed at the meeting.

 

Readiness was expressed to fully realize the potential of relations between the countries in the fields of economy, tourism, agriculture, education and environment. At the meeting, it was noted that the Georgian side maintains interest in attracting Austrian business and investments to Georgia.

 

The ongoing successful projects in Georgia with the participation of well-known Austrian companies were underlined. 

 

The conversation focused on the challenges posed by Covid-19 and the fight against pandemics. The Prime Minister once again thanked the Austrian diplomat for delivering 5,000 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine to Georgia.
