The leader of the United National Movement, Tina Bokuchava, declared that her party refuses to accept the recent election results, calling them “stolen and illegitimate.”

At a briefing, Bokuchava accused ruling party leader Bidzina Ivanishvili and the Central Election Commission (CEC) of manipulating the election outcome to deny the Georgian people a fair choice and undermine Georgia’s European future.

“We, as the United National Movement, categorically reject these stolen election results. We hope this stance will be echoed across the opposition spectrum,” Bokuchava stated, reiterating the party’s call for opposition unity in response to what they see as an unlawful and manipulated election.
