Following her vote in today’s election, opposition United National Movement (UNM) leader Tina Bokuchava expressed strong optimism, calling the occasion a “national victory day” that could catalyze a shift toward coalition governance and expedite Georgia’s path to European Union membership.

Bokuchava stated, “I am confident that this day will bring a change in government, paving the way for coalition forces that will lead our country into the EU in the shortest possible time.”

Highlighting the importance of each vote, she described the ballot as “the most powerful and precious tool” for Georgian citizens, urging them to choose a European future.

“Georgian citizens will vote for their children’s future, for our nation’s progress, and today, I believe, will return Georgia to the path of European integration,” she added.

With 3,508,294 voters registered, today’s parliamentary elections mark a decisive moment in Georgia’s political and social landscape.
