Tina Bokuchava, chairwoman of the opposition United National Movement (UNM), has called on supporters to join the Unity March scheduled for October 20, just days ahead of Georgia’s historic elections. The purpose of the march is to deliver a final warning to Bidzina Ivanishvili, the founder of the ruling Georgian Dream party, emphasizing that the Georgian people will not abandon their European future.

“The strength lies in unity, the strength lies in Europe, and with unity, we will defeat the Georgian Dream,” Bokuchava said, rallying her supporters. She urged all citizens who care about Georgia’s European future to participate, with the march starting at 5 pm at five different locations across Tbilisi.

The Unity March, which aims to demonstrate widespread support for Georgia’s European aspirations, will feature gatherings at various points in the city, including Heroes’ Square, where Bokuchava and UNM supporters will meet before heading toward the central square.

The march will begin at 5 pm on October 20, with participants gathering at locations such as Republic Square, Marjanishvili Square, and 300 Aragveli Square, all leading to a final rally at Freedom Square.

The gathering at Freedom Square will also include musical performances, providing a platform for attendees to come together in a demonstration of unity.
