Three million Ukrainians return home from the EU – EU commissioner

Three million Ukrainians have returned to Ukraine from various  EU countries, – European Commissioner for Internal Affairs Ylva Johansson said on Monday.

 

“According to our data, 6.7 million Ukrainians have entered the EU countries and about three million have already returned. 3.7 million Ukrainians requested temporary protection,” Johansson said.

 

She suggested that the largest number of Ukrainians, considering the number of refugees per capita of the host country, arrived in the Czech Republic.

 

Poland is second, Estonia is third, Lithuania is fourth, Bulgaria is fifth, and Latvia is sixth.
