Speaking at the European People’s Party political assembly in Vilnius on Friday, Bokuchava called for travel restrictions and financial sanctions against regime members

Tina Bokuchava, chairwoman of the United National Movement, urged European Union countries not to revoke visa-free travel for Georgian citizens, arguing that sanctions should target Bidzina Ivanishvili and his inner circle instead.

Speaking at the European People’s Party political assembly in Vilnius on Friday, Bokuchava called for travel restrictions and financial sanctions against "regime members", propagandists, and business elites, warning that EU support should not fund what she described as Ivanishvili’s “repressive machinery and corrupt schemes.”
