Trump says Europe should focus on Ukraine war, not Greenland

US President Donald Trump has said Europe should focus on the war in Ukraine rather than Greenland, speaking in a phone interview with NBC News.

He said if no agreement is reached regarding Greenland, he would impose 100 percent tariffs on European countries.

“Europe should focus on the war between Russia and Ukraine, because, frankly, you see what has happened as a result. That’s what Europe should focus on – not Greenland,” Trump said.

He also declined to answer whether he would consider using force to take control of Greenland.
