US President Donald Trump has said the German Chancellor should spend more time rebuilding what he described as a “broken” Germany instead of interfering in international matters.

Writing on social media, Trump said Germany’s leader had been “completely ineffective” in efforts to end the war between Russia and Ukraine.

He also said the Chancellor should spend less time interfering with those seeking to eliminate what he described as the Iranian nuclear threat.

“He should spend less time interfering with those who are trying to eliminate the Iranian nuclear threat in order to make the world, including Germany, a safer place,” Trump stated.
