US President Donald Trump took to social media on Wednesday, issuing a statement directed at Russia and President Vladimir Putin amid ongoing tensions and conflict.

In his post, Trump expressed admiration for the Russian people and recalled his “very good relationship” with Putin, while criticizing what he called the “Radical Left’s Russia, Russia, Russia HOAX.”

Trump emphasized the historical sacrifices of Russia during World War II but warned of looming economic consequences if the war continues. He proposed a resolution to the conflict, stating, “Settle now, and STOP this ridiculous War! IT’S ONLY GOING TO GET WORSE.”

In his post, Trump threatened to impose “high levels of Taxes, Tariffs, and Sanctions” on Russian exports to the U.S. and allied nations if a deal is not reached soon. He stressed the importance of finding a resolution, asserting that the conflict “never would have started if I were President,” and urged an immediate end to the war to prevent further loss of life.
