In the Isani district, near polling station #9, supporters of the ruling party allegedly attacked Mariam Dolidze, a representative of the United National Movement (UNM). A statement from the UNM reads that these “titushkas,” described as being in a state of intoxication, engaged in provocations and then physically assaulted Dolidze after she urged them to leave the area in accordance with the law.

UNM reported that Mariam Dolidze has been transported to a hospital with injuries to her abdomen and head. The incident marks yet another attack on UNM representatives, as the statement claims that throughout the day, the ruling party’s supporters have been physically targeting members of the opposition in a state of despair over their anticipated defeat.

“The Georgian Dream is losing! All incidents of violence will be investigated!” the statement concludes, urging citizens to participate in the elections and put an end to the violence.
