Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara Tsotne Ananidze has criticised the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly's Committee on Democracy, Human Rights and Humanitarian Questions for supporting a draft resolution on Georgia.
Ananidze accused US politician Joe Wilson of sponsoring the resolution because of Georgia's transparency law, which he claimed was identical to legislation in force in the United States.
"Joe Wilson sponsored a resolution against Georgia at the OSCE because of the transparency law, which is a complete analogue of the law in force in America," Ananidze wrote.
"Joe's interests overshadow legal reasoning," he added.
