Russia has lost approximately 1,190,620 troops killed or wounded since the beginning of its full-scale invasion of Ukraine, according to updated figures released by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The latest report included 1,150 additional casualties over the past day.

The General Staff said the data reflected estimated combat losses from 25 February 2022 to 16 December 2025, noting that precise figures cannot be independently verified under wartime conditions.

In addition to personnel losses, Ukraine reported significant damage to Russian military equipment. According to the update, Russia has lost an estimated 11,421 tanks, 23,737 armoured combat vehicles, and 35,172 artillery systems since the start of the war. Losses also include 1,570 multiple launch rocket systems and 1,261 air defence systems.

Ukraine’s military said Russian aviation losses remained unchanged, with 432 aircraft and 347 helicopters destroyed to date. At the same time, Russian losses in unmanned systems continue to rise sharply, with 91,219 operational-tactical drones reported destroyed, including 442 over the past day.
