According to the Minister of Economy Natia Turnava, the countries from which visitors can enter Georgia with a negative answer to the PCR test, Turkey has been added.

As she spoke at a briefing at the government administration, this is reassuring information for business and tourism.

"Our task is to breathe oxygen into the tourism industry and start slowly. The list of countries from which a citizen enters the PCR test is added by Turkey, our great neighbor, and from here we expect visitors with simplified rules. "This is good, reassuring information for both business and tourism, because it was a source of tourists to our neighboring country and quite a lot of business visitors come to us from Turkey," – Turnava said.

Restrictions on international flights have been lifted since February. Pegasus Airlines will resume flights to Georgia from February 11 and Turkish Airlines from February 15.
