President Erdogan spoke at a meeting of the parliamentary faction of the ruling Justice and Development Party.
"The fight against terrorism in Turkey and abroad is the legal right of our country. We are not going to ask permission to conduct operations and will continue to eliminate terrorists at the source of the threat." – This was stated by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan at a meeting of the parliamentary faction of the ruling Justice and Development Party on Wednesday in Ankara.
"Turkey’s determination in the fight against terrorism worries not only terrorists' accomplices inside the country, but also anti-Turkish circles abroad,” – the Turkish leader said.
The head of state noted that a number of Western countries continue to ignore Turkey's calls for a joint fight against terrorism, adhering to double standards in relation to criminal organizations.
“These countries do not want to realize that terrorism will sooner or later turn into a threat against them,”- Erdogan said.
According to him, Turkey will also continue to support friendly countries, from Africa to the Balkans and the Caucasus.
