In the zones of Operation Peace Spring and Euphrates Shield in northern Syria, three YPG militants, the Syrian wing of the Kirdistan' s Worker Party terrorist organization, have been neutralized, the Turkish Ministry of National Defense said on Sunday.
The ministry noted that two terrorists tried to penetrate into the zone of the "Peace Spring", another one was planning an attack on the zone of the "Euphrates Shield" operation.
The terrorists were promptly identified and neutralized by Turkish special forces, the report said.
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said earlier that 7,500 Turkish security personnel and 6,800 civilians have been killed by this bloody organization since 1984, when Kurdistan's Worker Party militants first committed a bloody crime in Turkey, and until March 2020.
The US and the European Union have listed Kurdistan'd Worker Party as a terrorist organization.
Despite Ankara's attempts to find ways to resolve the situation, the Kurdistan's Worker Party terrorist organization has resumed armed attacks since July 2015.
In recent years, the Turkistan's Worker Party has sought to shift responsibility for the bloody crimes in the region onto its offshoots.
In Syria, Kurdistan's Worker Party terrorists hide behind the names PYD and YPG, and in the past two years have called themselves the "Syrian Democratic Forces." In Iran, Kurdistan's Working Party acts as the Party of Free Life of Kurdistan (PJAK).
