Turkish opposition presidential candidate receives more votes in Tbilisi polling stations

Turkish opposition presidential candidate Kemal Kilicdaroglu has received more votes than acting president at polling stations opened in Georgia, domestic FormulaTV said. 

 

With all votes counted, Kilicdaroglu garnered 63.58 percent of the vote, while Recep Tayyip Erdogan received 31.34 percent in the Tbilisi vote.

 

More than 99 percent of the vote has been counted in Turkey with none of the candidates securing more than 50 percent of the vote. 

 

According to latest figures Erdogan has 49.42 percent and Kilicdaroglu – 44.95 percent.
