Russia loses aircraft, 48 artillery systems, more than 1,200 troops in Ukraine over past day

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Saturday said Russia has lost about 1,347,620 troops in the country since the start of the full-scale invasion, including 1,230 killed or wounded over the past 24 hours.
The General Staff also reported the destruction of one Russian aircraft and 48 artillery systems during the same period.
The updated figures put Russia’s total losses at 11,937 tanks and 24,574 armoured combat vehicles.
Ukraine also claims Russia has lost 42,133 artillery systems, 1,788 multiple launch rocket systems and 1,381 air defence systems since the beginning of the war.
According to the report, Russian losses additionally include 436 aircraft, 352 helicopters and 293,323 operational-tactical drones.
The Ukrainian military further stated that Russia has lost 96,793 vehicles and fuel tanks, 4,191 pieces of special equipment, 33 boats and two submarines.
Kyiv said Russian forces also lost nine ground robotic systems over the past day.
