Two Azerbaijani citizens arrested with 10 kg of heroin

Georgian border police officers have arrested two Azerbaijani citizens for smuggling in 10 kg of heroin. 

 

Suspects have been charged with illegally crossing the border, illegal purchase, storage and trafficking of drugs in large quantities.

 

The crime is punishable by 15-20 years in prison.

 

The detainees have been identified only as U.T. born in 1998 and E.M. born in 1989.
