Congressman Joe Wilson praises Macron-Zourabichvili meeting, calls for free elections in Georgia

US Congressman Joe Wilson expressed his gratitude on social media after French President Emmanuel Macron hosted the 5th President of Georgia Salome Zourabichvili following her attendance at Donald Trump’s presidential inauguration.

Wilson wrote on X:

“Grateful to see President @EmmanuelMacron host President @Zourabichvili_S right after she attended the inauguration of President @realDonaldTrump. France and America stand with the Georgian people. The only way forward for Georgia is free and fair elections!”

Macron and Zourabichvili met at the Elysee Palace in Paris on Friday. The details of the meeting are unknown.
