US Congressman Joe Wilson meets Trump, informs about political challenges in Georgia

Congressman Joe Wilson, Chairman of the US Helsinki Commission, announced on social media that he recently met with President-elect Donald Trump to discuss critical issues regarding Georgia.

In a social media post, Wilson stated that he informed Trump about the actions of the ruling party founder, Bidzina Ivanishvili’s regime, describing them as an assault on freedom. He also highlighted concerns over the regime’s alleged corrupt dealings with the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and the Iranian regime, including claims of a plot to assassinate Trump.

Additionally, Wilson shared the Friends of Georgia letter, underscoring bipartisan efforts in the US to support democracy and freedom in Georgia.
