UK Foreign Secretary Elizabeth (Liz) Truss announced her plans on Sunday to run for the Tory leadership and following this to replace outgoing PM Boris Johnson in the role.
She told the Telegraph that corporate tax cuts will be her top agenda as it is necessary to implement the “right economic action and plan” to get the country “back on track.”
Johnson resigned last week after three years in the post.
