Kyiv  says that the Russian army is experiencing  serious losses in Ukraine, while thousands of reservists have been added to the Ukrainian armed forces over the past several hours.

FM Denys Shmyhal has stated that for the first time since the outbreak of hostilities the Ukrainian army is attacking Donbass.

Kyiv states that more than 2,000 civilians have been killed in a Russian attack in Ukraine and ten rescuers.

“Since the beginning of the war, rescuers have extinguished more than 400 fires.

“During the seven-day war, Russia destroyed hundreds of transport hubs, residential buildings, hospitals and kindergarten,” the Ukrainian government says.

Kyiv says that Russia has lost far more people in the war.

The second round of talks between Russia and Ukraine may take place later today.
