Ukraine’s victory “the end” of Georgian Dream – head of For People party

The victory of Ukraine will be the end of the Georgian Dream ruling party, Anna Dolidze, the founder of the For People party and former deputy Defence Minister under the Georgian Dream authorities said on Thursday. 

In her comments, Dolidze said that the GD “was creating an illusion” that it was taking steps for the country’s European integration. 

“The only thing left for the Georgian Dream is to prolong the time in power until we learn something about Ukraine”, Dolidze said. 

For its part, the Georgian Dream is accusing the part of the domestic opposition of not participating in the working groups which had been set up to address the 12-point conditions by the European Commission for Georgia’s membership candidate status.
