The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Tuesday submitted a decree to the country’s state legislature on the extension of martial law and mobilization in the country, amid ongoing Russian invasion.  Zelenskyy has proposed to the Rada to extend the martial law in

 

Ukraine for another 90 days from May 20.

 

Ukraine declared martial law on February 24, 2022 after Russia launched a full-scale invasion. Currently, the state of war in Ukraine is valid until May 20.
