Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that Ukraine will persist in targeting military facilities within Russian territory. The statement comes amid continued large-scale attacks by Russian forces on Ukrainian cities, including Kyiv, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, and Kherson.
“This is deliberate terror by Russia,” Zelenskyy said, referring to the recent assaults that have devastated civilian infrastructure and endangered lives across Ukraine. He emphasized that these actions would not go unanswered and vowed accountability for Russia’s aggression.
“We will absolutely continue to strike Russian military facilities—using drones and missiles, increasingly of Ukrainian production—on the exact bases and military infrastructure used to terrorize our people,” Zelenskyy stated, underscoring that Ukraine’s defensive measures are “completely justified.”
The president’s remarks signal Kyiv’s unwavering stance in its fight against Russian aggression, as the conflict continues to escalate both on the battlefield and beyond. The use of domestically produced weaponry highlights Ukraine’s growing self-reliance in its defense strategy against a sustained and intensifying assault.
