Ukrainian military will liberate Bakhmut, two other major cities – Zelenskyy

The Ukrainian military will liberate Bakhmut in the Donetsk region and two other major Ukrainian cities from Russian occupation. Ukraine has a very complex plan,” President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has told American media.

“We will de-occupy Bakhmut. I think we will liberate two more cities,” said Zelenskyy, without specifying the other two. 

“I won’t tell you which cities, sorry. We have a plan, a very comprehensive plan,” Zelenskyy said.

The fighting in Bakhmut, Donetsk region, lasted for more than eight months. Now the city is occupied, but Ukrainian soldiers continue to attack in the direction of Bakhmut and manage to advance on the southern flank of the city. The liberation of Andreyevka and Klishchiivka settlements of Donetsk region was also important for the liberation of the city.
