Ukraine’s General Staff reports Russia has lost over 1.1mln troops since invasion began

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Sunday said since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022, the Russian military had lost about 1,115,250 soldiers — a number that includes both killed and wounded personnel, with 870 losses reported in the last 24 hours.
From February 25, 2022 to October 5, 2025, the estimated total Russian combat losses in Ukraine are as follows:

Multiple rocket launch systems: 1,516 (+1)
