Ukraine claims over 1.06 million Russian troops lost since start of full-scale war

Ukraine’s armed forces have claimed Russia has had more than 1,066,000 troops killed or wounded since the invasion began in February 2022.
In its latest update on Wednesday, Ukraine’s General Staff reported that 890 Russian personnel were put out of action in the past 24 hours.
The military’s figures, which cannot be independently verified, also claim that since 25 February 2022, Russian forces have lost:
Tanks: 11,099 (+1)
Armoured vehicles: 23,127 (+8)
Artillery systems: 31,429 (+23)
Multiple rocket launchers: 1,465 (+1)
Air defence systems: 1,207 (+2)
Aircraft: 421 (no change)
Helicopters: 340
Operational-tactical drones: 50,852 (+99)
Cruise missiles: 3,558 (+2)
Fast attack boats/ships: 28
Submarines: 1
Vehicles and fuel tanks: 58,265 (+46)
Special equipment: 3,937
