Ukraine’s General Staff: Russian military deaths, injures top 1,081,330

The General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces on Saturday reported that since the start of the full-scale invasion, Russia has lost approximately 1,081,330 troops - killed or wounded - , including 850 in the past day.
Between February 25, 2022, and August 30, 2025, Russia’s estimated equipment losses include 11,149 tanks, 23,210 armored vehicles, 32,172 artillery systems, 1,476 multiple rocket launchers, and 1,213 air defense systems. The figures also cite the destruction of 422 aircraft, 340 helicopters, 54,691 drones, 3,626 cruise missiles, 28 boats, one submarine, 60,222 vehicles and fuel tanks, and 3,952 units of special equipment.
The General Staff added that as of the evening of August 29, Ukrainian forces recorded 120 combat clashes, with most of the fighting taking place in the Lyman and Pokrovsk directions.
