The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has released updated figures on Russia’s combat losses, reporting that Moscow’s military has lost approximately 1,123,950 soldiers - killed or wounded - since the beginning of its full-scale invasion in February 2022.

According to the report, Russia’s total estimated combat losses in Ukraine from 25 February 2022 to 13 October 2025 include:

  • Tanks: 11,251 (+3)

  • Armoured combat vehicles: 23,345 (+0)

  • Artillery systems: 33,599 (+21)

  • Multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS): 1,520 (+2)

  • Air defence systems: 1,225 (+0)

  • Aircraft: 427 (+0)

  • Helicopters: 346 (+0)

  • Operational-tactical UAVs: 69,242 (+232)

  • Cruise missiles: 3,859 (+0)

  • Boats and speedboats: 28 (+0)

  • Submarines: 1 (+0)

  • Vehicles and fuel tanks: 64,043 (+109)

  • Special equipment: 3,971 (+1)
