Ukraine’s armed forces said Russia has suffered approximately 1,193,300 military casualties, including killed and wounded, since the start of its full-scale invasion in February 2022.

According to updated figures released by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russian losses increased by a further 950 troops over the past 24 hours.

The Ukrainian military estimates that, between 25 February 2022 and 18 December 2025, Russia has also lost significant amounts of military equipment. These include 11,432 tanks, 23,758 armoured combat vehicles, and 35,232 artillery systems. Losses of multiple launch rocket systems are put at 1,573, while air defence systems are estimated at 1,263.

Ukraine also reports the destruction of 91,716 operational and tactical drones, 4,073 cruise missiles, and 70,480 vehicles and fuel tankers. The figures list 432 aircraft and 347 helicopters lost since the start of the war. Russian naval losses are estimated at 28 vessels and two submarines.
