Russia has lost about 1,391,950 troops in Ukraine since the start of its full-scale invasion in February 2022, including 1,290 casualties over the past day, according to updated figures released by the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The Ukrainian military also reported equipment losses for Russian forces over the past 24 hours, including eight tanks, 10 armoured combat vehicles and 93 artillery systems.
According to the General Staff, Russia's estimated total combat losses since February 25, 2022, include 12,049 tanks, 24,797 armoured vehicles, 44,479 artillery systems and 1,885 multiple-launch rocket systems.
The figures also list losses of 1,435 air defence systems, 436 aircraft, 353 helicopters, 1,703 ground robotic systems, 364,149 tactical and operational drones and 4,787 cruise missiles.
In addition, Ukrainian officials estimate that Russia has lost 109,817 vehicles and fuel tankers, 4,316 pieces of special equipment, 33 boats or light vessels and two submarines since the beginning of the war.
